Dear child has many names...!
 

Here is a small list of all the coffee stop places we use when we roll around the island - the list is not complete - more coffee stop places are added continuously.

This is a service for you - we receive no payment from the participating cafes and shops!

1. Hotel Skovly

Our own little gem in the middle of the forest. Café Skovly is open during the hotel's opening hours, and serves coffee, beer, wine and water, various cakes, toasts, panini and some energy gels and the like for the back pocket.

You are welcome in your cycling clothes and not least in your cycling shoes...!

Parking for your bike is right outside the café - and if you take it into the café - it is also ok .....

Welcome in the middle of the forest - close to the beach.

2.Home by Bodycare

Kaffestop is a cozy coffee bar in HOME, created from dreams, shaped by a passion for luxury tea and a sense of happiness for wonderful coffee experiences.
 

We have handpicked and carefully selected the tea varieties from the Ministry of Tea, for those of you who crave a good cup of tea.

We have our always freshly roasted and carefully flavored coffee from MOKKAHOUSE - for every coffee lover with a penchant for a cup of tenderness

3.Café Maries NEXØ

Down on the harbor in Nexø is a little pearl, a cozy café that serves really good coffee, good sandwiches and something sweet for the palate.

You can sit inside or at one of the many tables outside, with a view of life in and around the harbour.

MARIES is a regular place to visit when our narrow wheels roll on that side of the island. 🚴🏻‍♂️

4.Brugsen Østerlars

Dagli'Brugsen in Østerlars has a reasonable selection of different cakes, sandwiches and coffee.

In addition, of course, soda, juice and cocoa milk.

The many times we use the place, we take the bike into the shop - and the staff are ok with that!

Outside you will find a table/bench set for use.

5. Pausestedet

On the Højlyngsstien - from Rø Plantage to Almindingen - onEgeskovvej no. 22 - there you will find the PAUSESTEDET.

It is a private garden where you have the opportunity to take a break, fill up your water bottle, buy a cup of coffee, a cola or just enjoy a piece of chocolate while you relax in one of the many pieces of garden furniture.....! It's all self-service - and on trust!

6. Café Solvang

Café Solvang in Vang is a café where there must be room for everyone. The café is located with a beautiful view over the sea and the most beautiful sunset right outside the door.

Cafe Solvang is located at the end of the hill which is described as one of the hardest cycling hills in Denmark - with a length of 1250 M and an average rise of 7.2%

7. Cabin Delux

Cabin Delux is located by Rytterknægten - right where the many mountain bike tracks start and end.

A very good cup of coffee, a donut or a piece of chocolate is served here.

You can sit right in front of the café on a table/bench set.

We always have a coffee stop there when the gravel bike pulls us towards Rø Plantage - or towards Paradisbakkerne. 

8. Kjærstrup

Kjærstrup Chokolade is the perfect place for cyclists to make a pit stop and enjoy a good cup of coffee in beautiful Snogebæk! At our shop you can park your bike and relax in our cozy surroundings. You can choose between various delicious coffee drinks, treat yourself to a piece of chocolate or an ice cream.
